STEM field as careers according to money.usnews.com are the best paying jobs in major cities like New York City and San Francisco. Although, Bill de Blasio, mayor of New York City, efforts to have a computer science week during the school year in high school is not enough. AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles are not widely taught in high schools especially in New York City. Software Engineers for example, earn at least six figure salaries from a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. In most industries, employers are in need for software engineers and data scientists to work at their companies.
